Chapter01, Part1   The northern side of Ruskin was barely nicer than the southern half, lending itself to more living inhabitants and a few less were-creatures than the dark alleyways of elsewhere. Caring Hearts Apartments had the less than dubious distinction of being smack dab in the middle of the area. It was three-story affair of brick and cement that possessed a freight elevator and modestly called itself a building. Rent was reasonable, most tenants were recent college graduates in search of their first jobs or the elderly living on pensions, and the area had only average crime rates. So, I'm Back...

I went to the Florida Classic this year and I have to say that halftime is still the best part of the event. Don't get me wrong, college football is great...but I prefer musical performances and the Michael Jackson tribute by FAMU was really spectacular. B-CU (can't believe they changed it from BCC :p ) disappointed me; they usually do a great job, but as the lady I was sitting next to said "They did something like this 10 years ago." I can confirm that...really. :roll:

We left a day early because the hotel was so heinous (and filthy) that we agreed to leave. The picture on the hotel's website looked absolutely nothing like the one we were given. The website picture lacked mirrors on the walls (half the place was covered in mirrors to force the illusion of a wider space), there was no bathtub in the bedroom and don't even get me started on the bathroom and bedroom. If you ever come to Florida, stay away from Mystic Dunes the outside looks nice, but the rooms look like :poo:.

Anyhow, the second-to-last November entry will be up by Wednesday because I have a painting to do for class. I also intend to update my class gallery because I've finally gotten my projects back from the professor. I'll work on that during Thanksgiving Break (later on this week).

It's been a pleasure, but I'm also happy to say that I'm almost done with these. As soon as the last one is up...I'll take a brief break and then come up with something new.
